"MPTC is soliciting proposals for purchase of a land to serve as a Fire Training Facility in or near Dodge County, WI.   MPTC currently utilizes campus space in Beaver Dam, WI, however programmatic needs have exceeded the current available space.  Parties submitting a proposal for MPTC’s consideration will need to provide documentation evidencing they have ownership/control, or will have ownership/control, of the property being proposed.  Pricing shall include all closing costs and inspections.  All specifications identified are the minimum acceptable.  Equivalents are acceptable."

Wisconsin Help For Homeowners

Wisconsin Help for Homeowners (WHH) is a

new statewide program that can help with

overdue bills like mortgage payments,

property taxes, utilities, and more. The

program is open to individuals and families

who live in Wisconsin with overdue

housing-related bills, both with and without

a mortgage, who meet income and other

eligibility requirements, and have experienced

a qualified economic hardship since

January 21, 2020.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income households.

Home Purchase and Repair Loans & Grants

Community Development Block Grant money available: 0% loans are available to owner-occupied households for eligible home repairs, to income eligible tenants for home-buying assistance for down payments/closing costs and to landlords who rent to tenants that are low- to moderate-income.  Click here for information on assistance.

USDA Rural Development has funding available to purchase and repair homes in eligible rural communities. Interest rates range between 1-3.25%. Grants for repairs are also available to income eligible households over the age of 62. For more information, contact USDA Rural Development at 715-345-7611.
