Village of Kekoskee

Proposals Requested


The Village of Kekoskee is requesting proposals from Certified Public Accountants to perform an annual audit of the Village of Kekoskee’s financial statements.  The audit shall cover the entire financial operation of the Village and must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards as contained in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Audits of States, Local Government and Non-Profit Organizations, the State Single Audit Guidelines issued by the Wisconsin Department of Administration, Wisconsin Statutes, and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. The Village of Kekoskee desires the audit to include an exam of the Village’s financial statements of the governmental activities, the business-type activities which will include all funds, accounts, capital assets, long-term debt, and activities of the Village. Audits shall occur every 4th year, starting with 2021. Annual reviews shall be performed in 2022, 2023, 2024, concluding with an audit in 2025. All proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022.  Proposals received after that date and time will be rejected. The Village of Kekoskee reserves the right to reject all responses, to waive informalities, and has the right, at its sole discretion, to accept the submittal it considers most favorable to the Village’s interest. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Village to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing this request.
